A web-based AI image database
Rather than a conventional text-to-image generator like Deep AI and Craiyon, KREA is a web-based AI image database. It enables users to look up existing artwork and drill down for the image that suits their needs. This AI image catalog allows them to save AI artists’ work to their KREA account for future reference.
How does it work?
Like other AI-powered image generators, KREA requires text input to generate a virtually endless supply of AI images that users can draw inspiration from. Without an account, users can only look up images by inserting a maximum of two keywords, and they can’t download the images. However, those with an account can like and save the images to their collection.
What’s special about KREA?
With the KREA AI image generator, users can scroll through the catalog, select images, and copy keywords and image links. Also, using modifiers that display keywords as tags, they can fine-tune their search to focus solely on the subjects, styles, and artists that they like. The keyword data registered in KREA is stored and shared on GitHub.
KREA makes professional AI art accessible
The mainstay of this text-to-image generator is that it brings professional AI artwork to the masses. While its ability to share the keywords that prompted an image is useful, it also limits the user to a finite number of pre-existing images. Most results are undeniably artistic, but the characters’ faces, hands, torsos, and legs are usually misshapen.
